Abstract
|
|
|
Objective: Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis(ALS) is a progressive disorder that causes degeneration of the motor neurons of the brain and spinal cord. We recently experienced one case of ALS. There is no cure for ALS. So, we would introduce the clinical report about it.
Methods: In the point of Differentiation of Syndrome, these subjects were diagnosed as Wea jeung. We treated her with acupuncture, herbal medication and physical therapy.
Results & Conclusions: Symptoms of the patient such as facial flushing, sweating, etc were improved after above treatment. So, it is suggested that oriental medical treatment is effective in ALS.
